Whether you make a video every day like me, or you hop on Facebook Live once a month hoping that your followers haven’t forgotten your face, you have content that can be repurposed and used on other platforms.

Ready to find out the top five ways to repurpose your Facebook Live videos? Keep reading to learn more!

1. Create Short Video Clips

Breaking your Facebook Live into short pieces (30 seconds to 1 minute) can be the perfect way to reach more viewers.

Short video content can be posted on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

This is a great way to get the attention of people who might not have been interested in watching your entire Live. Just make sure that you use the most interesting bits for your video clips!

2. Start Posting YouTube Shorts

YouTube is hopping on the bandwagon for shorter content. Whenever a platform is trying a new feature, they will push the people who really put out a lot of content using that feature!

Take advantage of the new trend and put pieces of your Facebook Lives on YouTube Shorts to reach a wider audience.

3. Pull Out Amazing Quotes

While not everything you said was gold, odds are you had some pretty cool insights during your Facebook Live. Let all of that brilliance shine by pulling out the best quotes from your videos and using them as captions or turning them into graphics as quote cards.

This is a great way to catch the attention of people who are just scrolling through and not watching videos.

4. Create a Mini-Podcast

If you aren’t conversing too much with the people watching your Facebook Live, it shouldn’t be too hard to do some minor editing of the audio and turn a few of your Lives into a mini-podcast series.

Podcasts have a pretty wide fan-base, and creating one can be a great way to broaden your horizons and gain more followers.

5. Transcribe Your Video

This is my favorite option. Transcribe your video and use the content on other platforms. You can pull out excerpts and use them as future captions. You can do some editing and rewriting and publish it as a blog post or guest post. You clean it up a bit and post it as show notes for your mini-podcast series!

There are a lot of options. The great thing about transcribing your videos is that it saves you a lot of writing time throughout the month.
